Stirrup Length for Dressage
Many riders associate Dressage with longer stirrups, and immediately lower them to the point that it negatively affects their position. Stirrups that are too long will make your leg weak and unstable - often leaving you "fishing" for your stirrups & tipping forward in the saddle.

A good Event horse must be brave. To be really safe in this sport, the horse has to really want to go tackle the unknown wherever we may be pointing them. Many hearts have been broken over beautiful, athletic, and talented horses that just didn't have this quality.
