Tip/Quote of the Day # 459

When negotiating rolling terrain, you must make the balance change in your position just before your horse has begun the downhill slope. If you wait untill the first stride of the downhill slope to make your position change (hips back, stretch up a bit), you could be caught out of balance, which can be hard to recover from. And can negatively effect the horse's balance as well.
