Tip/Quote of the Day # 424

When working on flying changes, don't be tempted to ask for the change on the diagonal just because you are coming to the end of it and therefore running out of room.  Always try to wait until you feel that your horse is balanced, straight, and *ready* to change. It is better to stay in counter canter than to ask for a change when you know your horse is not properly set up for it.
